Our calculators and examples use simple, constant assumed returns to show how compounding works. They're illustrations, not forecasts or promises.
Our own investments
Lucas writes openly about his own journey, which may include holdings in broad-market funds or bitcoin. Sharing what he does isn't a suggestion that you should do the same. We don't write about an individual stock or coin in order to profit from readers buying it.

We work hard to keep figures current and cite sources such as the Canada Revenue Agency, but rules, limits and prices change, and mistakes happen. Content is provided "as is", without warranties.
